Origin

DM.73 was a 4-aspect automatic signal commissioned at Swindon MAS Stage 1 on 14 November 1966[1]. At that stage it was supervised by Highworth Junction SB and was the last automatic on the Down Main in the newly-created track circuit block sections between there and Uffington SB.

Conversion to Controlled

DM.73 became a controlled signal, SN.998 at 0645 on Sudnay 11 June 2000, in connection with the installation of the connection to South Marston Euroterminal.
