Description

This signal applies to moves in the down direction on the Down Passenger Line (Platform 3) at Swindon Station. It is on the same gantry as SN.38 (now removed), SN.40, and SN.42.

The signal originally had routes to the Down Main, Up Goods and Down Branch.

Alterations in Connection with Reversible Signalling

A route to the Up Main (reversible) was added [when?].

Alterations in Connection with the Opening of the Down Engineers Siding

A position light route to the down Engineers' Sidings was added [when?].

Alterations in Connection with the Closure of the Down Engineers Siding

A position light route to the down Engineers' Sidings was removed in connection with the closure of the sidings [when?].

Alterations in Connection with the Passengerisation of the West Loop

The route to the Up Goods was removed in connection with the passengerisation of the line from 21.50 on Saturday 5 August 2006.

Alterations in Connection with the Removal of 363 Points

There were two routes to the Down Main, one via each crossover. The route via crossover 363 was removed in connection with the removal of those points at 05.15 on Monday 3 December 2007, leaving only the route to the Down Main via the second crossover (366).
