Origin

DM.69 was a 3-aspect automatic signal commissioned at Swindon MAS Stage 1 on 14 November 1966[1]. At that stage it was supervised by Uffington SB.

Controlled passed to Swindon Panel under Swindon MAS Stage 5 on 3rd March 1968.

Conversion to Automatic

This signal was planned to be converted to an automatic (from what?) on 2 August 1970:

But the work did not take place as planned:

and the signal was actually converted to automatic on 6 September of that year.
