UM.69 was the protecting signal for Knighton Level Crossing on the Up Main. It was semi-automatic and fitted with an emergency replacement switch.

At that stage it was supervised by [[Uffington]] SB. It was the protecting signal for Ashbury Level Crossing and Ground Frames on the Up Main. It was semi-automatic and fitted with an emergency replacement switch.
