The signal in rear, [[SN.50]], was also moved further from Swindon.

Over the weekend 3-5 May 1977 the signal was moved as part of the re-spacing of signals between Swindon and Wootton Bassett. DM.79 was moved further from Swindon and onto the new gantry recently installed and already carrying UM.79.

The signal in rear, SN.50, was also moved further from Swindon and the next signal, DM.80 was recovered. DM.79 now breaking the section between SN.50 and DM.81.
