UM.69 was the protecting signal for Knighton Level Crossing on the Up Main. It was semi-automatic and fitted with an emergency replacement switch.

UM.69 was a semi-automatic signal commissioned at [[Swindon MAS Stage 1]] on 14 November 1966<ref name="S.2498">Signalling Notice [[S.2498]]</ref>. At that stage it was supervised by [[Uffington]] SB. It was the protecting signal for Ashbury Level Crossing and Ground Frames on the Up Main. It was semi-automatic and fitted with an emergency replacement switch.
 
Controlled passed to Swindon Panel under [[Swindon MAS Stage 5]] on 3rd March 1968.

It was the protecting signal for Ashbury Level Crossing and Ground Frames on the Up Main. It was semi-automatic and fitted with an emergency replacement switch.

Controlled passed to Swindon Panel under Swindon MAS Stage 5 on 3rd March 1968.

Conversion to Controlled

It became SN.87 on 2 August 1970.
