Alterations in connection with Reversible Signalling
From 6 March 1977 the signal was mounted on a right-hand cantilever, in readiness for the future installation of SN.624RR.
The reversible signalling was brought into use in 1981 [1].
Bridge Works
During works on Stratton bridge (74m 75c) in 1975, an emergency replacement switch was fitted to this signal.
Movement
The signal was moved forward 180 yards in July 1983 [for what reason?].
Removal
This signal was planned to be removed on 7 February 2000, as described in GWS.15, but, due to 'construction difficulties' the work did not take place.
It was later planned to be removed on 11 February 2002, as described in GWS.27:
