Bridge Works
During works on Stratton bridge (74m 75c) in 1975, an emergency replacement switch was fitted to this signal.
Conversion to Controlled
This signal was planned to be converted to a controlled signal, SN.81, on 7 February 2000, as described in GWS.15, but, due to 'construction difficulties' the work did not take place.
It was later converted at 0645 on Sunday 11 June 2000.
