JI removed
The junction indicator that was fitted in connection with the original scheme for Kemble to be a passing place on the single line was removed in September 1970.
SN.158 never had a route towards the up platform, which would have been its route without a JI.
The route without a JI then read to the down platform, the only route from the signal.
[Until the removal of the JI, did the single route from the signal, towards the down platform, have a JI?]
