SN.62A and [[SN.62B]] were a set of splitting banner repeater signals on the Down Main between [[SN.60]] and [[SN.62]], applying to the latter signal.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
They were removed when [[DM.81]] (which replaced [[SN.60]] soon before, was given the capability to flash single yellow when the next signal, [[SN.62]], was displaying proceed with the route set towards the Down Badminton. This took place in May 1979.&lt;br /&gt;

The numbering of the banners is unconventional by modern-day standards, when the pair combined would be numbered SN.62BR.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
In early scheme plans for the Swindon MAS scheme the banners are not shown, and instead [[SN.60]] is shown as a splitting distant.&lt;/div&gt;</summary>
