==Origin==
 
UM.69 was a 4-aspect semi-automatic signal commissioned at [[Swindon MAS Stage 1]] on 14 November 1966<ref name="S.2498">Signalling Notice [[S.2498]]</ref>. At that stage it was supervised by [[Uffington]] SB. It was the protecting signal for Ashbury Level Crossing and Ground Frames on the Up Main. It was semi-automatic and fitted with an emergency replacement switch.
 
Supervision passed to Swindon Panel under [[Swindon MAS Stage 5]] on 3rd March 1968.

Once [[Knighton|Knighton Level Crossing]] had closed, the signal was converted back to an automatic, and re-numbered back to DM.68 on 21 November 1976.

Origin

UM.69 was a 4-aspect semi-automatic signal commissioned at Swindon MAS Stage 1 on 14 November 1966[1]. At that stage it was supervised by Uffington SB. It was the protecting signal for Ashbury Level Crossing and Ground Frames on the Up Main. It was semi-automatic and fitted with an emergency replacement switch.
