The signal was converted from a 2-aspect (yellow/green) head to a 3-aspect (red/yellow/green) head at 0700 on 30 September 2001, although the red aspect was not brought into use.

The red aspect was planned to be brought into use and the signal re-numbered [[SN.681]] on 7 February 2000, as described in [[GWS.15]], but, due to 'construction difficulties' the work did not take place.

The signal was converted from a 2-aspect (yellow/green) head to a 3-aspect (red/yellow/green) head at 0700 on 30 September 2001, although the red aspect was not brought into use.
