Moving

On 16-17 June 1977 the signal was moved 835 yards further from Swindon in connection with the re-spacing of signals for the introduction of the HST. The signal in rear, UM.64 was recovered altogether, and UM.65 in its new position broke the section between SN.89 and UM.63. The section between SN.89 and UM.65 was particularly long (3610 yards) in readiness for the insertion of SN.93 between these signals.
